Khan Academy Addition

This is a very good website for online learning.
Khan Academy talks about the most difficult concepts to the very basic concept.

This is what he says about addition. The level of English used can be quite difficult for the students. Parents, if you are showing this, do take some time to explain to the child what he is talking about.

There are sums you can attempt, you just need a google account, log in and try to do the sums that are attached to the video. Just click on the "Do Exercise" on the task bar, login with your google account, and you can proceed from there.

Optional H/w - ASAD

Optional H/w -- ASAD (A Story A Day)

I have asked some of the children in the class to write a story which revolves around the school core values. This story may be used to be recited on stage during A-story-A-day time.

Words should be around 100 - 200 words, which will take around 3 - 5 minutes to read out the story. It should be an original story, something that happen to themselves.

As this is optional, I will be collecting the stories if they have completed.

Homework on 14 Feb

Dear all,

Please note today's homework:

- Stellar Handwriting Book -- Page 17 and 19. (to be completed by Wednesday 16 Feb as we are going out for Learning Journey tommorrow. )

- I have asked some students to complete a story writing about our school core values. This homework is optional, and if your child has been called, please help them to write a story. This is due next Monday, 21 Feb.

Library books due on 22 February

Dear all,

I have brought the children to the library, and almost all of them have borrowed 1 - 2 books. Please take note that the due date is 14 days from now, which is 22 Feb for them to be returned.

At the moment, they are allowed to borrow only 2 books. The max quota of 4 books will be given once they learn to take care of their books.

Please encourage your child to read the books and return them promptly.
